RAYMOND C. PRESGRAVEMr. Presgrave has had a robust engineering career in the field of leading edge semiconductor process and product development dating from the early days of the integrated circuit through the development of FLASH memory. His specialty was most commonly focused in the areas of process control and reliability physics. Mid career, his focus shifted toward Chip Set product development for the Intel Corporation. Most recently he has engaged in the area of electronic product manufacturing as the CEO of California Integration Coordinators, Inc.
Background
Graduating with a B.S. degree in Chemistry and Business Administration, Mr. Presgrave began his engineering career with Fairchild Semiconductor in the late sixties. He was responsible for the quality and process control of several wafer fabs, two assembly areas as well as the plating and mask making operations. Process’s being used and or developed at that time included RTL, DTL, TTL, ECL, NMOS, PMOS, CMOS as well as others. He was licensed to handle radioactive gas that was used in a critical processing step.
After being called to serve in the US Army Vietnam, Mr. Presgrave returned to the Semiconductor industry to work in various Q&R and Product Development Management positions for Fairchild Semiconductor, Monolithic Memories, Honeywell, and Intel Corporation. He has traveled extensively thru out the Pacific Rim countries for the purpose of process transfers, technical troubleshooting, supplier development/control, and market development.
Mr. Presgrave was a notable contributing factor in Intel being widely accepted as “Vendor of Choice” during Intel’s greatest growth rate years. He has worked very closely with companies like IBM, Apple, Digital, Unisys, Xerox and others in order to achieve mutual success.
In 1997 Mr. Presgrave became CEO of California Integration Coordinators, Inc. This company helps people build electronic products by providing electronic manufacturing services. His management methodologies were responsible for a rapid growth in revenue and profit as the company was awarded the “Top 100 Fastest Growth Companies” awards for 2 consecutive years in the Sacramento Region. As an operating officer of a company that helps many start ups, Mr. Presgrave has had the opportunity of being exposed to well managed companies that have products with technical merit. He is an early and still active Investor and Director of USCL.
Education
Ray Graduated from Bowling Green State University located in Bowling Green Ohio in 1968. He has a dual major of Chemistry and Business. Since receiving his bachelor’s degree, he has attended a variety of post-graduate courses. Most recently he attended the Advanced Business Management Program at Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business.
